As well as sailing a number of members are also involved in other watersports including:

Diving

A number of members of the club are involved in Scuba diving, using the club slip to launch from for diving trips in the area. These activities are generally associated with specialist diving clubs, and are undertaken by members with dual membership. Membership of Rush Sailing Club is essential for use of the slip.

Kayaking

Kayaking is an increasingly popular activity among members, especially on winter Sundays, when boats are seen heading out towards the surf, or up into the inner estuary in wilder weather. As yet there is no formal structure to these activities.

Powerboating

There is a substantial fleet of power boats in the club, many used for fishing and diving in local waters, while some of the larger craft cruise fairly extensively in the Irish Sea.
